Sometimes it's hard to explain how life unfolds! Two years ago I started photographing Mississippi Delta cowboys and cowgirls, and on April 2, Smithsonian Magazine selected my photo "Newest Cowboy in Town" as the Grand Prize Winner of their photo contest.
